◆ 논문 초록 (Abstract)
Osteoarthritis of the knee and hip leads to pain, functional limitations, and reduced quality of life. Although hip and knee arthroplasty are effective treatments, they remain costly and carry procedural risks. Evidence from the GLA:D programme shows that structured education, exercise therapy, and lifestyle interventions can delay surgery and improve mental wellbeing. Dutch policy documents emphasise prevention and network-based care, but regional variation and fragmented financing hinder nationwide implementation. A national movement and education programme, embedded within multidisciplinary regional networks and supported by digital monitoring, could deliver sustainable non-operative osteoarthritis care. Healthcare professionals can already initiate lifestyle interventions, apply framing techniques, and strengthen collaboration within regional networks.
